So you just downloaded EmaChat, hoping to steal a few moments of alone time with your partner. What next?
The Log-in process on EmaChat is as simple as it gets. Once you launch the app, you will be briefed on a few features unique to ours alone.
You can access the login screen when you're done swiping through all of them. You will be required to enter your mobile number and your partner's in the spaces provided for you.
Then, you can select your gender from the given dropdown and click on the 'Get OTP' button. Once you receive the message on your registered mobile number, you will have to enter the OTP and you're all set!
You will just have to wait for your partner to follow the same steps, entering your phone number when asked, and you can start texting your special someone with no barriers, in no time at all.

With this information, EmaChat will help you set countdowns for your partner’s birthday, anniversary and also calculate the amount of time you’ve spent together!
You can also add an image of yourself to complete the profile setup. As always, with EmaChat, these profiles are visible only to you and your special someone.
So your partner is offline. But you still want to let them know how you are feeling. You wish to talk to them about anything at all; Be it your day, your colleagues at work or even about your family. EmaChat gets it. There are times when you want your partner around, but they’re just too busy at the moment and not available to listen to you.
This is why the developers have created the Post option at EmaChat. With the Post option, you can select from a range of varying emotions to tell your partner exactly what you are feeling, from ‘Grateful’ to ‘Tired’ or ‘Lonely’ and ‘Emotional’ to ‘Sick’- Just name it!
Beyond this, you can also leave a brief meaningful message for them to see when they are active. You have an option, which when enabled, lets your partner comment on your post and respond to your thoughts and feelings.
You can also toggle the post’s timer for visibility, after which neither of the partners will be able to access the auto-deleted post. For example, if you set a post to delete after 24 hours, it will be permanently erased from your devices and EmaChat’s secure database. You can also make sure a post is just viewed once.
With this feature, you don’t have to impatiently wait around for your partner to come online and respond to you. You can freely share whatever is on your mind, knowing that you have complete privacy assured.
To hide your profile from the main screen, click on the three dots at the right corner of your screen and select ‘Hide Profile.’ From there, the app will instruct you on how to enable and disable the visibility of both your profiles.
On the top right corner of your EmaChat Homepage, you will be able to find an envelope icon, outlined colourfully. When clicked, it takes you to a new page. If your partner is not online on the same screen on EmaChat at that point, you can simply send a ping to them with the ‘Notify my Partner’ button which you can see.
You can even set a nickname for them while you wait- something only you two can view.
